A little rave …

… about an amazing coconut perfume!

I love perfume. I love smelling nice! But – it can get expensive if you go through perfume like I do. My signature scents (Chanel Chance, Christian Dior Poison and Narciso Rodriguez, Narciso) are about £60+ a bottle and quite ‘wintery’… So, in the summer I like to switch things up a bit.

In step … The Body Shop Eau de Toilette’s – more specifically Coconut. I LOVE THIS STUFF!

£8.50 for 100ml compared to £69 per 100ml for Narciso: the way I go through scents, there is no comparison! In the summer, I really like wearing something lighter and more summery/fresher – Coconut just reminds me of tropical beaches, sun cream and warmth. So many people comment on this coconut scent – I’ve had more compliments about this than about my scents from the designer brands. It is even stronger if you pair it with the body butter or lotion – also from TBS.

If you’re not a fan of coconut though, fear not – you could chose from:

Vanilla – http://www.thebodyshop.co.uk/bath-body-care/eau-de-toilette/vanilla-eau-de-toilette.aspx

Moringa (I have this one – it is gorgeous!) http://www.thebodyshop.co.uk/bath-body-care/eau-de-toilette/moringa-eau-de-toilette.aspx

Satsuma – http://www.thebodyshop.co.uk/bath-body-care/eau-de-toilette/satsuma-eau-de-toilette.aspx

Strawberry – http://www.thebodyshop.co.uk/bath-body-care/eau-de-toilette/strawberry-eau-de-toilette.aspx

Shea – (I have this one too -lush) http://www.thebodyshop.co.uk/bath-body-care/eau-de-toilette/shea-eau-de-toilette.aspx

Honey – http://www.thebodyshop.co.uk/bath-body-care/eau-de-toilette/honeymania-eau-de-toilette.aspx

Pink Grapefruit – (this one too – really citrusy) http://www.thebodyshop.co.uk/bath-body-care/eau-de-toilette/pink-grapefruit-eau-de-toilette.aspx

Smoky Poppy – http://www.thebodyshop.co.uk/bath-body-care/view-all-bath-body/smoky-poppy-eau-de-toilette.aspx

Mango – http://www.thebodyshop.co.uk/bath-body-care/eau-de-toilette/mango-eau-de-toilette.aspx

Obviously, for £8.50, the staying power isn’t amazing, but I don’t mind reapplying for something that is good value and smells lovely. I’d say one bottle of this lasts me about 4/5 months, and they last from one year to the next too (I’ve just dragged the three bottles I have out of the drawer ready for this summer, and they are absolutely fine).
